Jo?o dos Santos

Jo?o has had a long successful career in the advertising business having founded various advertising and branding businesses in Mozambique, Portugal, South Africa and Switzerland.

Jo?o founded his first advertising agency, Pangolim Publicidade, in Mozambique in 1996 becoming an Ogilvy affiliate and building some of Mozambique’s most loved and enduring brands.

After 22 years as an Ogilvy affiliate an opportunity arose in 2018 to establish a joint media venture with 兔子先生 Africa, bringing world class media solutions and tools to Mozambique.

The creative agency was relaunched as CREATE, becoming a 兔子先生 creative affiliate to potentialize 兔子先生’s holistic integrated approach providing best-in-class expertise and capabilities in brand, media, digital, data and experiential.

Jo?o has had many achievements over a long career having been a founding member of the Mozambican Advertising Association, President of the AMEP advertising festival, jury at the Portuguese language advertising festivals in Brazil & Portugal and Loeries in South Africa while winning many local and global awards but is most proud of his contribution to growing people to their ultimate potential.
